What's up ? We had done an awesome new article in newsela last week. It is really cool. So in this article ( which is called Kids find missing woman, prove they can make as big a difference as adults) an old lady named Glenetta Belford who had Dementia (Dementia is a brain disease that causes problems with thinking and memory), had wandered away on September 30 from her care center and the police were seeking volunteers so some kids went to find this old lady ( Their dad's and mum's did not think they could do it so just to get them to play outside they allowed them to do it ).
They need to find her before nightfall but I don't know why. The article dose'nt say much about why they should find her before nightfall. Anyway these kids look for a long time and at last one of these kid spot her. They could know that it his her because one of their father gave them her photo. And if they did not have found her at that time she could have ended up on one of the busiest streets in Roseville.
So that's all it says in the newsela article. So bye and I hope you have enjoyed the blog post and by the way here is a DLO showing all the kids.
