Food research

Hello bloggers,
My name is alan and today I am going to tell which country I would choose for doing a food research.
I will choose Saudi Arabian. Now I will say what the common food items in Saudi Arabian cuisine include :
Common food items in Saudi Arabian cuisine

Common food items in Saudi Arabian cuisine include wheat, rice, lamb, chicken, yogurt, potatoes, seafood and dates.

Now I will say what the Saudi Arabians people eats for breakfast :

Saudi Arabian cuisine breakfast

The bread that is eaten a lot is called Khobz as well as Khaleej, in the Maghreb regions. Dishes such as Marqa, Stews, Tajines were prepared traditionally among the bedouins. Breakfast existed of baked beans, bread, nuts, dried fruits, milk, yoghurt, and cheese with tea or coffee. Snacks included nuts and dried fruits.

Now I will say what the Saudi Arabians people eats for lunch :

Saudi Arabian cuisine lunch

The lunch spread of rice varieties could be one of the many like chicken /meat Mandhi, Kabza, Biryani, Plain rice with chicken or meat curries, tandoori chicken or grilled, a soup of tomatoes or chicken, vegetable salads essentially with filfil (Chilli pepper green), helped by Colas, Mountain Dew, Pepsi, etc.

But, I  couldn't find out what they eat for dinner. Now I will say about the beverages Saudi Arabian dink :

Beverages
Traditional coffeehouses (Maqha) used to be ubiquitous, but are now being displaced by food-hall style cafes. According to the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission, "serving Coffee ( which is also called Gahwah ) in Saudi Arabia is a sign of hospitality and generosity". Traditionally, the coffee beans were roasted, cooled and ground in front of the guests using a mortar and pestle. The host would then add cardamom pods to the coffee beans during the grinding process. Once the coffee was brewed, it would be poured for the guests. Today, though, Gahwah is not prepared in front of the guests; instead it is elegantly served in a Dallah and poured into small cups called Finjan. Another of the beverages is Yoghurt which is normally made into a drink called Laban. Sobia is a cold drink usually made in the Hijaz but now available all over Saudi Arabia especially during Ramadan. It's made from a light fermented mixture of Barley/Brown breadDate palm sap, Herbs and Spices. It may be either white or colored depending on the flavor. It's also found to have health benefits.

How to make family recipe

Hello bloggers,
My name is Alan and today I am going to tell about how to make a family recipe. The family recipe I am going to say is about how to make Naan with Crispy fried Chicken that can last you for 1 day or long. Now I will say the ingredients for Naan and Crispy fried Chicken.

Ingredients for Naan

Wheat flour (Atta, Maida)
Water
Yeast
Cooking fat (Butter or Ghee)
Yogurt
Milk

Ingredients for Crispy fried Chicken

4 cups all-purpose flour, divided
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 tablespoon paprika
3 teaspoons pepper, divided
2-1/2 teaspoons
garam masala
2 large eggs
1-1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 broiler/fryer chickens (3-1/2 to 4 pounds each), cut up
Oil for deep-fat frying

Now I will say what to do after you get these ingredients.

After getting the Ingredients for Naan
First, you want to make the dough by combining the yeast and flour together. Knead the dough with hand or using a stand mixer and then rest to double the dough in size. Then divide the dough into 8 balls. After doing that heat up a cast-iron skillet on high heat to make naan. The high heat makes the dough rises and fills the middle part of the bread with an air pocket. It’s done when burnt brown “blisters” or spots appear.

After getting the Ingredients for Crispy fried Chicken
  • In a large shallow dish, combine 2-2/3 cups flour, 2 tablespoons chopped garlic, 1 tablespoon paprika, 2-1/2 teaspoons pepper and 2-1/2 teaspoons garam masala. In another shallow dish, beat eggs and 1-1/2 cups water; add 1 teaspoon salt and the remaining 1-1/3 cup flour and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then place in the flour mixture, a few pieces at a time. Turn to coat. After doing that i
  • n a deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375°. Working in batches, fry chicken, several pieces at a time, until golden brown, about 7-8 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels.

That's it, this how to make Naan and Crispy fried Chicken. Thanks for reading my blog post and please give me a feedback.
