My name is Alan and today I am going to tell you about this story, which I finished reading and I found it very interesting. There is a young man named Hewyn and his best friend, Scarper who is a Goblin who will become the hero in the last. They live in Clovestone. In the beginning Hewyn wanted an adventure. So he was walking for miles, that's what Scarper thought. Though Scarper was thinking  had thave covered many valleys, Hewyn thought he only passed a few valleys. Hewyn spotted a chimney like thing in that valley. He went to explore it, while Scarper rested. When he reached it, he searched for some passages to enter into it but he couldn't find any. He then walked to the top of it, then suddenly he slipped and fell in the hole.

After he had fallen then only Scarper realised there arch enemy,dwarfs lived and worked there. The dwarf was there arch enemy because they take slowsilver from which dwarfs are born and from which dwarf can make powerful weapons. He ran to warn Heywn about it. In the other side Hywen was recovering from the fall when many lamps lighted. First Hewyn thought it was monsters and raised his sword,then only he understand that the light was dwarves. He kept his sword aside because dwarfs were known as hardworking creatures to humans. At that time the dwarfs started talking. One of the dwarfs said to the other globlins that it was only a boglin. They called them a bloglin because that is what dwarf called humans. Suddenly Scarper also slipped and fell down. They started chasing them because globlins where there arch enemy. Then onwards the war began. This war is about slowsilver. Slowsilver is a magical liquid from which globlins hatch from and from which dwarfs head can  be completely finish. Their head is a very large stone statue made years ago using slowsilver. It was only half made because there was not enough slowsilver. There are two wars in the story. When the first war was going on in Clovestone, in the other side the dwarfs dug and made a pipe connecting to their home, Dwarvenholm. The second war is to stop the giant stone dwarf  from smashing Adherak,where  Hywen's family lived because that's the only way they can reach coriander.
