Observing a painting

Hello bloggers,
Its me Alan and this is one of the summer learning journey's activity. The activity is this :

For this activity, we would like you to select one of the pictures below and to study or observe it closely. What do you see?
On your blog, describe the painting in detail. What do you see when you look at it? Please give us as much detail as you can!

so I am going to complete it. The picture I chose is the second one. In that painting It is like I am in the edge of a small cliff And I can see the village below in the night. So that's it I hope you liked my blog post and please write me a comment.

  1. Talofa lava Alan,

Congratulations on completing yet another activity! You really are doing a fantastic job. :)

I really like your analysis of Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night', Alan. I like how you've thought about where you would have to be standing to see a view like this one. I've always really liked this painting. Van Gogh was very talented. Do you like art?

Have a great day and keep up the great work! :)

    Bye for now,

    Mikey

  2. Hello Alan, its me Parwin!

Great to see that you have completed yet another SLJ activity! I like how you have included both photo's to show both of them and you have made everything very clear and easy to understand too.

This reminds me of when I did this except I chose the 1st one because it was the first type of art which I had seen that was like that. I have seen 'The Starry Night' in many places and it is a wonderful art work.

I think that to improve, maybe you could include what the SLJ is for those who don't know what it is and maybe you could include a bit more when completeing the actual activity!

What do you like best about 'The Starry Night'?

    Awesome work!

Looking forward to your next posts,
    Parwin
